Shawn Dargusch

Shawn Dargusch is the Head of GQR’s Austin office and Executive Vice President working within the Life Sciences division.

He facilitates personal and professional growth for the members of the Austin office – responsible for driving and delivering results. In tandem, he is incubating healthcare recruitment in Austin with the goal of launching this niche specialism nationally in the near future.

With a deep grasp of the healthcare arena through nearly a decade of taking massive market share in the space, Shawn has built a team of healthcare experts that are delivering top-level results to hospitals and health systems nationwide.

Shawn has a passion for successfully leading teams into uncharted territories to deliver results. He has a sincere desire to be considered a subject matter expert in the industry, while simultaneously developing specialists in the space.

He graduated from SUNY Brockport with a dual Bachelors degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. Shawn continued his studies at the University of Buffalo to become a career coach for the developmentally disabled.

Outside of work, Shawn loves anything to do with sports, concerts, traveling and trying new cuisines. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son!
